Happy Year of the Snake!

祝大家新年蒙恩, 蛇年恩福满满! (Completed on the Note II LTE)

Wishing everyone a very happy, blessed and prosperous Year of the Snake ahead! ^^

After being hit by the cruel "corrupted S Note" saga, some of my past sketches were wiped out. My initial CNY sketch was wiped out along with it =((( Decided to start anew and do a Dragon-Snake hybrid since we're in the midst of the 龙年-蛇年 transition.

This Dragon-Snake hybrid was inspired by Dragonair from Pokémon, designed by Ken Sugimori. First appearing in Pokémon Red and Blue in 1995.

Part 1 of 2 CNY sketches that I've been working on the past 2 weeks =) Part 2 coming soon...

GOALS of 2013 (Part II)

Focus on the GOAL! (Completed on the Note II LTE)

Part 2 of 2 of the Goals of 2013 sketches.

Completed on: 1st January 2013

Blessed 2013: Attainable GOALS not resolutions this year =)

Take aim, practice and fire at goal! (Completed with the Note 10.1)

On the training ground, it's always practice, practice and more practice. You've got to take aim at the goal and have the desire to put the ball in. And it could take a thousand shots in training to score. Even when you do, nobody is going to care. People care only on the big stage. And to score on the big stage, you've got to do it over and over again in training. But when you do, you'll feel like you've reached the Promised Land!

It's not about the resolutions we have but the attainable GOALS we set and how we work towards them. Wishing everyone a blessed 2013!

Merry Christmas ^^

Angels we have heard on high, singing "Gloria in Excelsis Deo!"

(Completed on the Note 10.1)

A Mickey & Minnie Christmas! (Completed on the Note II LTE)

Here's wishing everyone a blessed Christmas! May God bless you all in the coming year ahead!

Christmas is a time of all sorts of giving. One "giving" that is most important to me this year is Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for so many things that happened in the past year, especially the 2nd half of it. I give thanks because the Lord, my God is a faithful God who has blessed me with so many loving and caring brothers, sisters and friends around. Their prayers, advice and words of encouragement have been a true blessing to me.

These 2 sketches are dedicated to everyone of them, with ♥!

The Smash

Preparing for the Smash! (Completed on the Note 10.1)

Always wanted to capture the moment when a Shuttler leaps into the air to prepare for a smash. That though of hearing that smashing sound from my own racket is just so nostalgic. Really wished I still have a few more Shuttling buddies.

Had initially planned to do this on the Note II LTE, but I realized that there was a lot of detail I could be missing out. So I borrowed my parents' Note 10.1 to savour the feeling of drawing on the tablet!

Took some inspiration from what I recalled of a friend's drawing that was pretty much similar. Dedicated to the few Badminton students I've had the privilege to teach over the past few years. And also to my cousin, James, who shares my love for Badminton!

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods ドラゴンボールＺ 神と神

Vegeta and Goku from the upcoming Dragon Ball Z movie (Completed on the Note II LTE)

Set within the "lost decade" in the Dragon Ball storyline, the highly anticipated 18th movie of the Dragon Ball Z franchise will hit Japanese theatres on 30th March 2013. After 17 years without an official movie, it's about time!

It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas ^^

Dora Marquez in her very lovely Santa costume (Completed on the NoteII LTE)

Decided to deviate away from manga/anime sketches for this one. Done specially for a friend's birthday.

Also a nice reminder that Christmas is coming soon... =)
